In the days before search engines...making sense of the chemicals in everyday products took real effort: library research, conversations at co-ops, connections made at natural food stores. Through that process we found small independent makers who shared our thinking, and together we learned what made a product safer (or what could make it hazardous). We set the standards, they crafted the products, and we only put our name on the result when completely satisfied. Nearly 30 years later those partnerships and that shared commitment to safe, natural ingredients are still what Naturally Safer is built on.
